Determining Lessons Learned
You are going to go through a lot of team projects in colleges. If you want to make these experiences rewarding academically and personally, you need to learn from each experiences to make the next one better.
How do you learn from your experiences? Here’s one way to do this.
- Review the topics list from Exhibit 1. For each topic, ask these two questions:
- What worked well that I want to do again?
- What changes would I like to make next time?
- Take the list from (1) above and add it to your overall project practices list. As you have additional project experiences, your list will become invaluable.
Many career interviews will focus on your experiences in working with others. Describing this process can be very impressive to recruiters.
